What is Event Desk?
Event Desk is ReplyDost's ticketing and gate-entry tool for event organisers. You set up passes and prices, share one QR poster, attendees book and pay by UPI, and your gate staff scan their ticket QR to let the whole group in.
What does it cost?
There is no setup fee and no monthly charge. Razorpay's payment fee and GST on it are deducted from your payout, or you can add the fee to the ticket as a convenience fee. ReplyDost also takes a small commission on tickets you sell, and your exact rate is shown after you sign up.
When do I get paid?
After the event ends. Your payout is sent to your verified bank account about 2 days after the event, and the payout tab shows a line-by-line statement of tickets sold, the payment fee and any commission.
Do I need a shop or business location to use it?
No. Event Desk works for organisers with no business location or Google Business Profile. You only need an organiser name, a phone number and a bank account for payouts.
Can prices differ by age, gender or couples?
Yes. Each pass has its own prices for adult male, adult female, couple and child, and you choose the child age range. Multi-day events can sell any-one-day or fixed-days passes.
Do attendees need an app or an account?
No. They open your event page, pick a pass, add who is coming and pay by UPI or card. We ask for a phone number, and a photo of the first person so staff can check them at the gate.
How does gate entry work?
Every booking gets one QR and a 6-digit entry code. Staff you add by Google email open the gate scanner on their phone, scan the QR, see everyone in the booking with their photo, and admit them in one tap. The entry code works if a screen is cracked or too dim.
Can I limit how many people come?
Yes. You set a capacity for each day. Seats are taken as people book and held for 15 minutes while they pay, so the same seat is never sold twice.
Can I add gate staff and remove them later?
Yes. Add staff by their Google email. Removing someone takes effect immediately because their email is checked every time they scan.
Can I run a multi-day event like Navratri?
Yes. Set a date range and sell passes for any one day or for fixed days, such as a 3-night or weekend pass. The gate checks that a ticket is valid for that day.
What if an attendee loses their ticket?
Each booking has its own ticket page with the QR and entry code, so they can open it again from their link. Staff can also use the entry code at the gate.
Can a Digital Menu partner promote my event?
Yes. You can ask a Digital Menu owner in the same city to feature your event on their menu page. They accept it from their dashboard.
